Supports the organization’s mission, vision and values by exhibiting competence in demonstrating knowledge and skill to carry out nursing process when providing care to all patients. This position is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting all care activities in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care. The RN also must demonstrate the knowledge and skills needed to provide age-appropriate care, based on the assigned unit. This includes a thorough understanding of the principles of growth and development over the life span, along with the ability to assess/interpret issues relative to an individual patient’s status and age-specific needs. This position will adhere to all policies, procedures and regulations to ensure patient safety and compliance.

requirements / education

High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oklahoma and possess a current BLS certification. ACLS preferred. One or more current years of acute care experience as a registered nurse preferred. Must be able to provide nursing care to patients of all ages: neonates to geriatric population. Must demonstrate teaching and leadership skills.
